Learning Objectives

By the end of the session the participant will be able to:

  • Explain the eight core principle of medical ethics
  • Apply ethical decision-making to complex situations
  • Implement strategies to promote health equity and reduce the influence of bias on health outcomes
  • Discuss the impact of traumatic experiences and how different factors affect the likelihood to experience resilience.
  • Explain risk factors for physician burnout and how it can affect patient care, in addition to describing interventions that can promote wellness for working clinicians.

  • Minimum participation threshold: Take the post-test. A score of 10% or higher is required to pass and proceed to the activity evaluation.
  • Complete the activity evaluation and CME registration. A CE certificate will be emailed to you immediately.
