Learning Objectives
By the end of the session the participant will be able to:
- Identify alternative metrics to BMI for measuring presence or pathologic excess adiposity, and to understand current anti-obesity treatment targets and efficacy, review management strategies when utilizing anti-obesity medications.
- Understand AI fundamentals, explore applications of AI in Medicine, learn about real-world examples, understand the benefits, challenges and ethical considerations of AI in medicine, and gain insight on future direction of medicine with AI.
- Understanding Mental Health in Pediatrics including current mental health crisis and Pediatric Mental Health Protective / Risk Factors, and Correlating Parenting Styles with Mental Health Outcome and strategies for parenting teens.
- To elucidate coronary artery calcium (CAC) scoring as an effective and cost efficient modality in cardiac risk stratification in a community population.
